Ice, cold coffee flavor gets lost with watered down, melted ice cubes. Without that fresh brewed coffee flavor, it just does not taste that great. In fact, watered down coffee is a real turn off. Instead, you can make your own fresh ice cold coffee. Simply add 40 ounces of water to carafe and then up to _ pound or 16 tablespoons of fresh roasted coffee beans or coarsely ground coffee into the Cold Brew Core. Insert core into carafe and pour 2 cups of water over the coffee to dampen. Then add water to cover the coffee or up to the top of the windows of the mesh core. Tighten lid and place inside refrigerator. Stir coffee in between brewing time. After 12-24 hours remove bottom of core for easy release of coffee grounds. Insert flavor mixer into carafe and pump up and down to add flavor. Stores for up to 14 days.
